To my readers
I appreciate your hits- I guess you have gotten used to my unpredictable topics and impulsively. I write ptsd (Post Traumatic Stress Disordered) most of the time, with some items triggering memories that just happen to interject their ideas. If you stuck around, and read some of the past blogs, you know what I'm talking about. I am so interested in also knowing about the individuals who hit the blog. It fascinates me to think that as well as my friends there are unknown persons from all around the world hitting this blog, reading about my thoughts and history of my family, and what your ideas are. I want a way to get some feedback, and this blog does not allow for much of that. I do get some in Facebook, when friends will click they read a blog, or click "like", but I wonder more about if I have some families that have also had some of the same experiences that I have had, some travels though the journey of life and can relate.
I felt the need to write a longer description of one set of boys that I had in the family for years, I am not quite finished, and fewer persons hit the blog. I guess this was not as thought provoking as some of the other subjects on which I decided to focus. However, I mainly write this blog to express myself, so obviously I need to write what I have to put down, regardless of what gets more hits.
What's happening now? I'm just worn out. Worn out about the constant downpours. It seems it has poured sheets of rain for weeks every day, except this moment. The rain is so intense, you cannot drive, the streets are so filled with rain, that the drains cannot empty, and the cars hydroplane across the street, cannot brake, accidents all over the place. You cannot see in front of your face! So far, by mid June we have had the amount of rainfall we usually have ALL YEAR!
I am worn out by the paper work, the forms I have to send in for redeterminations, government questionnaires, social security, you name it, I have to send it in. I've had it with it all!
I'm worn out with all the junk mail. Too much useless offers for credit cards(when I don't have any money to spend!) and car insurance when I already have it!
I'm worn out shopping for groceries and seeing how everything I used to pay $1 for costs $4! what's that all about, when none of my retirement money has gone up a cent? In fact, I get less....
I'm worn out with the yard looking horrid, because it rains all the time, too wet to mow, yet keeps on growing. It is just a mess. Don't even want to weed, those weeds have really gone wild, and now I think they might as well just take it over! I did not have the energy or the time between rain deluges to put down mulch.
Maybe if the summer hits, like sunshine and blue skies, and we start taking walks and enjoying the outdoors again, we will stop going cabin crazy, hit the parks and fields for some regular fresh air, these dreary days will end!
